Google Meet writes the notes
With Gemini note-taking on your Workspace plan, Google drops the notes doc into the host's Drive the moment the call ends. No extra bot joins your call.
MeetingSurf is the meeting notes app for small teams. Get accurate notes, turn action items to tasks in your favorite task app, and get summaries and briefs in slack.
Summary
Reviewed onboarding drop-off, agreed to ship the new invite email this week and to revisit pricing copy after the next round of interviews.
Next steps

Meetings end.
Momentum shouldn’t.
The follow-up used to be the part that quietly slipped. Now it happens on its own.

How it works
With Gemini note-taking on your Workspace plan, Google drops the notes doc into the host's Drive the moment the call ends. No extra bot joins your call.
The doc is parsed into a title, attendees, a TL;DR, key points and a list of next steps with owners — so nothing gets lost.
One formatted message in your shared Slack channel, one task per next step for the right person. No new app to check.
The problem
Enterprise notetakers are overkill
You don't need a $50/seat AI bot joining every call. Google already writes the summary — you just need it to go somewhere useful.
Actions never become tasks
Next steps stay as a bullet list in Drive. Turning them into real, owned tasks is manual work that gets skipped.
No shared memory
Two weeks later nobody can say what was decided, or who agreed to do what.

Before and after
Nothing about how you run calls changes. Only what happens in the ten minutes afterwards.

With MeetingSurf

Paddle out. The follow-up is already handled.
Platform
Google Meet writes the summary for free. MeetingSurf just reads it from Drive and turns it into follow-up. No duplicate transcription cost.
The full notes doc is read through the Docs API — not a preview snippet — so nothing important is cut off.
Summary, key points and next steps are pulled out as clean fields you can edit before anything is sent.
A single bot posts to the channel you choose, with mentions for whoever owns each next step.
Tasks are created from each owner's own address, so they land in their personal todo app and not a shared queue.
No enterprise sales process, no per-seat minimums, no feature bloat. Add teammates, map names to real people, and get on with your day.

for the whole team
“We looked at the big AI notetakers and couldn't justify the price for a team of three. MeetingSurf does exactly the follow-up part we actually needed.”
“The tasks show up in my own todo app, assigned to me, worded the way we said them. That's the whole thing I wanted.”
Consent and privacy
A meeting is readable by the person whose Drive it came from, anyone listed as an attendee, and workspace admins. Enforced in the database, not just the UI.
Anyone can pause processing of their own meetings from their profile. While paused, nothing is stored, posted or turned into a task.
Summaries, next steps and delivery logs are deleted automatically once they pass the workspace retention window — 90 days by default.
